Prior to staging this house there had been 3 showings. Buyer feedback was negative, comments were, “it’s too crowded”, “it’s too small”. Another agent had this listing and asked me to help. When I walked in the front door I was greeted by the back of a sectional sofa. To my right was a couch that was waiting to go to a new home, beyond that was a piano against the wall. In front of the fireplace was a crate for the family dogs. In the dining room there was a nice table and chairs, a wall of stuff and an easy chair and file cabinet! Look at the amazing transformation I achieved merely by removing furniture and rearranging what was left. |

This was a great success story. We finished staging this house an hour before the next showing. The buyer fell in love with the house and made an offer. The house closed in 30 days. The seller was happy to move on to her new home. |

The next set of photos was my listing. The property sold the first day it was on the market! The sellers were delighted as they had 3 pets and showing the house meant removing the dog and hoping the cats wouldn’t run away! |

It was a simple transformation. Remove the exercise equipment from the living room and bring in a sofa from the family room, add a screen that was stored in the garage to define the space from the entry. By removing the sofa from the family room it opened up the hallway so the beautiful fireplace could be seen from the front door. Also by removing some of the items on the walls, the room takes on a serene feeling and buyers are not distracted from the clean lines of the room. |
